I caught your fj55 pic on the pics post and wondered what color that is? Its got a kewl old school look.
Im searching for color combos for my 55 and wondered if anyone has seen a Pueblo Brown and White Cruiser. When i checked the color codes it claimed there were two different browns-one was tan- the other was pueblo brown. Has anyone heard of or seen pics of any 55's with these two different browns?

Hey.
I've seen pictures taken by the P.O. right after he got it painted at Maaco, and it was tan/white/tan. When I bought it four years ago it was kinda beige/white/beige, and now it's kinda tan/white/tan, with a generally dirty layer over top. It was originally blue/white/blue. There's been a big bald spot on the roof since I got it, where the tan peeled off to reveal the blue underneath. My theory is that the prep guy couldn't be bothered to reach the middle of the roof and the paint didn't stick. Looks like Gorbachev.
It could use a respray. I'm not sure what we're going to do next, but I like my wife's idea of all white with day-glo hippie flowers around the sides and across the hood.

Well if i see any dayglo hippie flowers passing thru Oakland ill know who it is. I was thinking more pink and grey to go with the iron pig motif. I actually just finished all the seams on my sanded to the metal pig with POR15 and was contemplating putting that in the spray gun and PORing the whole pig. I wonder if anyones tried this?

Make sure you add the corkscrew tail to the hitch receiver.
