Has anybody ever had any problems with a 2.9 backfiring through the intake? Any help is greatly appreciated.

i have heard of chevy motors doing this and its a flat cam lobe. Pull your valve cover and have a buddy bump the motor over and watch the valves.

Is the motor constantly doing this or is there a skip during the cycle when it isnt? I have heard of this coming from a flat lobe too.
