I drove the scout two days ago and would not start yesterday, carb is rebuilt and flowing gas properly, spark is getting to all cylinders, new coil, filed and set points, it will crank but no start. what else to look for its got me stumped.

Did you time it off number 1 or 8? IH motors time on the number 8 cylinder.

I will check that tomorrow and Im going ahead and installing the electronic stator setup tomrrow also.
