I may not have used the correct search words.
However I did try.

1990 1.3 EFI Samurai

I can't seam to be able to control the idle
I have never messed with any of the EFI stuff
or the wire.
Just added a cone filter.

Now this thing is revving 6grand in 5th
It's like having cruse control.
This thing is going to blow up.

Never had a single problem with this motor
in the past.

I pulled off some of the vacuum lines one at a time
but nothing happened.

The sticker under the hood didn't help.

I tryed to jump the sensor, but that didn't do anything.

I suppose it could be the sensor.

Anyone?

If I remember correctly you cannot adjust the idle on the EFI. It comes preset from the factory.....IF jumping the sensor dosent drop the idle try replacing it or all those valves(the three on the intake side EGR...etc.....) and all the lines... But being able to pull 6grand in fifth is pretty impressive:D let us know what is the outcome;)

BigFrank, Is your "check engine" light flashing a pattern? That tells you a lot but does not cover the ISC solenoid valve. This valve is connected to your air box by a vaccum hose and is electrically operated. Since you installed a cone filter where did you hook up your idle speed control valve? This will kick up your idle for cold start-up but will not be enough to give you 6 rpms.

The light is not flashing, but it was on for a wile and now
it is off.
