Try Saves the Day's new album, In Reverie if you are into mellow Emo with a slight edge. Imagine if Weezer banged the members of Radiohead and they all had kids that grew up listening to The Beatles. that's what this album sounds like. It can be slow deep and meaningfull, then flips over to mellow cruching without notice... but it's not such a change that it makes you lose your concentration on the songs whole.

Here are a few other noteable albums I've picked up in the past year:

The Transplants (Self Titled)

The Distillers Sing Sing Death House

Queens of the Stoneage Songs For The Deaf

Grandaddy Sumday

The Avalanches Since I Left You

Buddha's Ghost

If it is we then we have it in our region as well. Constantly on two of the three stations I commonly listen to.
A lot of people rave about them but I just cannot seem to get into it.?.?.?
