I remember hearing somewhere that yoou can machine the hub down some and redrill the pattern on a 14 bolt to run 5x5.5 wheels. Does anybody have any pic's of this, or have they heard of this being done?

you might try posting that in the Chevy area....I have a 14 bolt FF in my Jeep, but I am running 8 lug rims and fullsize axles. Definitely a big plus in my opinion.

A friend of mine did it but it takes a lot of time and machineing. It can be done though.

Donovon has done this for the 6x5.5 pattern. Don't know if the center hole is as big on 5x5.5wheels, but if so, I don't see why he couldn't do it for you. Look him up.
