Yep, I'm having trouble keeping track of dates that are months out. I need something that'll pop up and say things like "Hey dumbass get on that DHEC report" or "Don't forget to call such and such today". You get the point. Anybody out there got any good suggestions for programs for the puter. No I don't have a PDA and don't want one. Thanks

You can download the Palm desktop free. You don't actually have to have a Palm to use it. It works a hell of a lot better than outlook and is not going to give you the virus headaches.
OR ...
Go to www.downloads.com and take a look there. Most of the really good ones are going to cost you. If you are willing to spend money you can get a Palm based PDA pretty cheap these days. This will allow you to sync all you dates and be able to have them on your computer and in you pocket.
Can you tell I love my PDA(Treo 90)? :D

Since most businesses use outlook for email (which I dont like it for) you might as well use the features it does do well, like the calendar, especially in a "groupware" setting.

Well, I've got outlook but everyone talks so much crap about using it for mail that I didn't think it was worth it. I'll give it a try
Having a PDA would be like having 2 computers at my desk. I'm not traveling or on sales calls or anything like that.

There has been a lack of links lately, not banned as far as I know.
As for your outlook problem I recomend Post It notes and a desk calander. Or hire a sexretary.:D

I'll second the recommendation for using the Palm desktop software.
It is really easy to use and is pretty nice.

I use the Outlook calendar and it works great. For my team at work we all use them and grant access to each other so we can see what each other is doing. Makes it much easier when trying to coordinate projects and what not.
