Just in case you are an east coaster and are looking for something to do this weekend, you can come to Zuwharrie. It is a Suzuki event located in the Uwharrie National Forest in Central NC. There are about 75 rigs signed up as of this week. Here is the rest opf the info on it.

Zuwharrie is this weekend! Hopefully everyone has their truck going and the packing is underway! If this is your first time, expect to have a blast! This year's event will be awesome!

A few quick notes to update everyone on what's going on.:

We've made another update to the "Who's Coming List". Current head count is about 75 vehicles and 180 people. If you've signed up recently, check out the list at http://www.zuwharrie.com/who.htm and make sure you're listed.

If this is your first time attending, please visit http://www.zuwharrie.com/maps.htm for trail and travel information. There, you will find a map of the trails at Uwharrie, a MapQuest link to get you into the town of Uwharrie, as well as directions to the park once you get there. There should be signs pointing the way to the Zuwharrie Base Camp once you get into the park.

We've posted the schedule of events at http://bbs.zuwharrie.com/content/board-5_action-display_threadid-2258_a.html . You will also receive an event guide with this info and a full trail map at the event.

A few other items you may be interested in:

THE RAFFLE:
The raffle will be held on Saturday night after dinner. Tickets for the raffle are FREE with a few conditions. First, there is a one ticket per person limit. Secondly, you will only get a ticket AFTER you turn in your Event Waiver form which will be handed out at the event. If you do not turn in a waiver, you will not get a ticket, no exceptions. The waiver itself will be addressed at the drivers' meeting Saturday morning.

Please review this list, and if you plan to bring something, post it to that thread so we have an idea of what to expect.

MERCHANDISE:

ZUKIMON 10-15-2003, 07:27 PM Damn dude, don't remind me. I, stupid like, didn't remember to look at the site close enough and ended up taking last week for vacation instead of this week. I wish that I could be there. My wife said that I should call in sick to work on Sat., drive down Fri. and check things out. I promise that I will be there next spring(somehow).
