Will the standard CJ2A Gas tank to my any good with a V8? If not where else can i look for gas tanks? JC Whitney?

I belive the question is, Will a cj-2a gas tank work with his V8 converstion..

The Gas tank is a 11 gallon tank. With a v8 your best millage will be 10 miles to the gallon, thats about 100 miles of normal driving before your out of gas.. In 4 low your gas consumption goes way up.. So your quesiton is will it work, Sure if the V8 uses a non intank pump. Does it suck when you run out of gas on the trail? yes it does.. would i go fuel cell or mount the tank out in back? Yes..
