>Dear Director Morgan:
>
>This letter is in support of Catherine Robertson's decision to allow a new
>four-wheel drive trail in a portion of Billings Canyon. This trail would
>replace the unique four-wheel drive opportunities that were lost when Bangs
>Canyon Management Plan was implemented.
>
>This is an ideal canyon to have the trail in because no new access routes
>are needed, it is in a steep sided canyon, and it is mostly sandstone and
>boulders. This would keep the environmental impact to a minimum.
>
>New trail construction is allowed for in the Bangs Canyon Management Plan
>and the Grand Mesa Jeep Club has followed all of BLM's processes and
>procedures to get approval to build this trail.
>
>I urge you to support Catherine Robertson's decision to allow this project
>to continue.
>
>Sincerely,

Sent the letter out today. I always include that OHV recreation affects my decision to visit a state or area of the country. Let them know that our decision to spend money in their area is directly related to their doing their job for equal access.
