At least I still had 1st and reverse.
This is the govenor for the th400 and when it strips out forget about going anywhere fast.

Yea, it's great in stop and go traffic and with the shift kit and lower planetaries it performs well off road. I even get quite a bit of compression braking with the low stall oversize converter. Just kind of funny how it just went all of a sudden. You hit it on the head when you said NOVAK adapter. I hope this does not happen often, I've only had that adapter for a little over 2 years and no more than 10k miles. <IMG SRC="smilies/skull.gif" border="0">
