I've decided to forgo the stock axles, as it's just a waste of money(the hybrid 30 deal), so it looks like I'm just going to swap my C&C 14 bolt in sooner along with my HD tubed D44. Going to try to sell everything I have to recoup but we'll see. Anyway I want to fit a target size tire of 37's/38's under my TJ flairs so what size YJ BDS should I run 2 or 3.5 for SOA? No waggy stuff as I have already figgured out the deal of extending the frame for wb. Don't realy want to run a BL but I will if I have to but no bigger then 2 in. So what does everyone recomend? Pics if ya got em!

lets see.. you will get a 4 to 4 1/2 in lift from the spring over..
do you have a body lift???
I have a bodylift and just finished a springover with stock springs.. i can fit 38" tires now.. my 33's look almost like the stock wheels..lol
I cant do a pic right now.. the rig is in the shop getting body work done..

Flatfender the front and rear = tons of clearance. If my jeep was trail only I'd do it in a second. The cops here are pretty stingy when it comes to tread being covered.

My '73 is extended 14" in the back and 6" in front. I run HD CJ7 packs from JC Whipme, CnC, 44 front and I clear 38.5's no problem w/no body lift. I flatfendered the front (didn't have to) and rear -- had to b/c of the w/b extension.

Mine was a daily driver with the 38's and it rode and still rides cooshier than most lifted jeeps.

Sweet Rok, guess I can't avoid rubbage but oh well. Anyway think I should go with the 3.5 BDS to be safe? Or will that make me too tall, seems as though yours looks a little on the small side with flairs (in the rear) maybe thats just me, any other pics? BTW do you have a body lift?

I run stock height waggy springs over w/ 38s a 1" BL and lots of trimming. Its a Daily-Driver and I'm pretty sure I could fit 39.5s. there should be a link to pics in my sig.

newt, who makes your springs?

I think the 3.5 BDS will be too tall, im running the 39.5's with 2.5 BDS CJ springs front and roughcountry XJ rears with chevy leaf to counter axle wrap. Even with the front and rear fenders cut the tires rub on full stuff...

BTW no bodylift..
