On the front tires, would it be better to have a little toe in or toe out? Or would completely straight be the best for anything above a 33" tire. I thought in one post one guy had toe in and the other had toe out for larger tires. I would think straight is what the alignment shop would try and do. Any ideas?

I don't know (I'm running 33s - but it came that way), however, try doing a search on the site for 'Toe in' and see what comes up.

Here's a thread that may help.

You will definately want toe-in. Toe-in helps prevent death-wobble, among other things. Haynes manual has the amount of toe-in requuired. For 33" tires, you may want to overdo it slightly. I set mine to spec with 33" tires. Runs great at all speeds.

i have a friend of mine that does alot of front end work. he says that for radials it should be zero, and bias plies 1/16 to 1/8"toe in. mike

o i forgot toe out will make it feel real darty or twitchy. as in slight movements in the wheel cause it to jump left or right. mike

Toe out is what I have now and it definatly is darty and twitchy... I will Check the amount tonite and do the toe in. Where is it in the HAYES manual, I have looked, but can't find it. Should be under the steering seciton right? Anyone have the Specs? I will try the 1/8" in.
