I have a Chevy d60 front that I am putting in my Jeep, but I'm not near it right now to measure. I did some rough measurements last time I was home but nothing exact. (I remember the tubes were a little bigger than 3".) I need dimensions for the u-bolts to order some for when I go home next time. I need them for the one that goes around the dif and the ones that go around the tubes. Napa, nor any of the other stores, claimed that they had the dimensions, or even part numbers, for u-bolts. Thanks in advance.

Cool. Anyone know about the big u-bolt that goes around the housing?

I ordered a 4" diameter u-bolt for mine........ works well
Also make sure to get the 5/8 u-bolts:D

Studs? Mine has threaded holes that I was planning on using regular old bolts in, but that still leaves the other side of it where a u-bolt goes. Is 4" the proper u-bolt size that I need for it, then?

yep the U-bolt on the passenger side for my housing ( 91 Dodge Dana 60) uses a 4" u-bolt 22" total length

on a Chev housing your mileage may vary..........

Thanks for the info, ya'll. One last one, though . . . I know it's a pretty gerneral length, but what is a good overall length measurement on the smaller u-bolts?
