: Clutch Master Cylinder Leakage

Hiya Cruisers-

Here is another item that I'am tackling on my "things to do list".

I noticed that each time I depress my clutch, I noticed a little bit of brake fluid coming out of the rubber boot and dripping on to my floor board.

How can I rectify the problem? Would changing the boot solve the problem or would I need to remove the entire cylinder?

This is the rig that I'm learning about engines and stuff, so any info in laymans terms would be greatly appreciated.

I love my cruiser, she will be my never ending project, but it seems that her project is to drain my bank account faster than I can put anything in it.

Happy Cruzin Everyone

Hiya SwampPig-

Thanks for the info, I will look into it.

Also, was it a pain to replace it? I'am basically mechanically challeged and is wanting to learn how to slowly be unchallenged.

I just live a stones throw aways from ya.

I live in Kirkland.

Rebuild both master and slave cylinder as you will soon blow out the slave if you don't. Good time to replace the clutch hose, too.
