Does anyone know where I can buy 9/16" chrome deep-shank lug nuts? I need to replace most of the lug nuts on my F-250 and the nuts I want are expensive. I did buy a set in the past of the same ones for my Bronco at $2 each, which came out to $64. Is there a source online that sells them cheaper than that?

I like to have the threads covered to keep them from rusting from all the road salt around here. On the Bronco, I put a bit of anti-sieze on each stud and put the close-ended nuts on, haven't had a problem with removal even after being in deep water, mud, snow, etc...
On the F-250, there's only 4-6 nuts per wheel with the rest of them exposed (8-lugs). The front has 4 open nuts per wheel, the rear has 6 closed per wheel. Of course, this isn't by my doing- I'm the 5th registered owner of this truck.
All PPs take the tires and wheels off, but if I had to guess, I would say they ahve a really big bucket of them somewhere, you should ask. Id bet a dollar that they dont throw them away, they are pack rats by nature.
Good luck.
