I moved the rear spring mounts back 4 inches on the frame. first grind off the rear main eye mount and move it back 4 inches http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1759725&a=13844916&p=57331895
and then take the rear spring hangar and reverse it as well which gives you the matching 4inches you need.. of course I use an under seat gas tank though.

you can always do the waggy spring thing, which will net you 2.5 to 3 inches extra wheelbase per axle cause of the center bolts being offset. they bolt right into the yj mounts. so if all yah want is 3 to 4 inches id just go waggies for the easiness factor if yah want more relocate the mounts and do waggies for a ton of extra wheelbase

Try checking in next time Jump150, you friggin Newbie :flipoff2: :nuke: :rasta:
BTW, the welds on that frame look great. I wonder who did that for you.
To get back to the question. If you are going to do a frame off moving the main eye perch was pretty easy. After you turn the shackle mount around it will interfere with the bumper attachment points so we just welded it on. We figure since we are putting a CJ2A body on this CJ-5 frame w/ a stretched wheel base we will have to cut the rear corners out similar to the Avalanche Engineering Comp corners. If you don't want to do this then becareful with how far you strech the wheelbase.

I like YJTJ's Idea, I was debating on moving all my mounts back but since i need new leafs anyway maybe ill just go waggy's front and rear.. Gain about 4-6" wheelbase at the same time :D

Which Waggy spring?
JCWhitney has 2, a "normal" 5 leaf, and an HD 7 leaf.
If I were a bettin' man, I'd say the 7 leaf and remove a spring?
Thoughts? Opinions?
Bueller?

You can get an extra 1" on each end by offsetting the spring centerpin hole in the spring pad. This will add some caster to your front so keep that in mind. My 67 is stretched to 90" by moving the springs and the spring pad thing I just said. It keeps the tires on the ground much better than my 66 ever did so go for it youll be very happy with the mod.http://www.respite.org/images/cj66dean/myjeep3.jpg

Do the waggy spring for 4" of extra wheelbase. Did that and SR for a total of 100" wheelbase on my YJ
