ar toy 10-23-2003, 07:23 PM I just got a 85 ford bronco with a 8.8 rearend.I was chcking oil levels when I removed the oil plug it let out some air like it was under pressure.My question is where is the vent on this axle there is a bolt in the front driver side of pumpkin is that where it suppost to be? waternut 10-23-2003, 07:51 PM There should be a little welded on stem on the axle tube it self. There should also be a piece of rubber hose running towards the body that is calmped to the stem with a banding clamp.
