The drums won't let go. The shafts are out of the axle housing. It is a toy rear. tried taping the studs and the drum itself, also tried droping it on the studs. any good ideas?

pry it away from the backing plate while tapping at the same time. before that soak it in pb blaster and work on it tomorrow.

I assume you had the lug nuts on the studs when you did it, right? :D

Do it again. Put wood on the ground and nail it three times. It'll pop off...

try using the two empty holes in the drum, they are there so you can run a bolt in each one and they will pry the drum off of there for you. I forget the actual size thread, but I think they are in the neighborhood of 6x1.00 mm.

LOL You can take just about anything in life apart with a BFH and a torch. Duct tape and bailing wire to put it back together.

 I used a grinder and a BFH to remove a wheel bearing that was fucked up. Come to think of it, that's how I got my old pitman arm off of my tie rod too :D
