it funny that when you see the OLD footage from like 2 years ago, that it seems almost like retro wheeling (just 2 years ago) our sport has gone along way in 2 years:eek:

I always love seeing Cedar footage (the old homestead and all) and Moab.

Live in CO and just got the DVD. Simply put SICK!!! Nice to see that my rig with 33's have done like 1 of the obstacles. I agree with Billavista about the off music features. I want the rig's noise. I remember when you camped with us at loon a few years ago on memorial day, we had talked about you selling your rig to start making killer dvd's........Well :beer: to you! You have made some killer movies this year!

Movies like these really get people interested in our sport. We have friends and family that come over all the time, and when new people come over we pop in a DVD and they are glued to the tv to the end of the movie.
First thing they ask when the movie is done......Do you have another one we can watch?:D Because of videos like these, this sport will grow faster and stronger than ever before!

The postman decided to give mine back to me today. Great footage and good mix between trail riding and comp. Like others have said more motor sounds and the rest of it and a lil less music but its not bad. Overall I give it 2 enthusiastic fingers up. :flipoff2: Great stuff, keep it rolling. Will definitely be looking forward to the next one from RP films.

Just got mine the other day! In another thread I said that so far the best rockcrawling movies were the hammer down series but I think I changed my mind :) . Keep it coming guys 'cause il keep watching.

4x4 videos with metal soundtracks are a bit old in my opinion. Also, it makes no sense when some music comes in. I'm all for a little intro music or exit music etc but I'd rather hear radio traffic between spotter and driver, judges talking, etc. Music works well for multishot action montages and that sort of thing too but for some reason I've never been a fan of it in the middle of longer pieces. Just my .02, I still think everything from RP is cool and all. 8D

got my copy today...has to be the best wheelin video ever. A great combo of trail and competition. RP really did a great job and scenes like Shannon Campbell's intro really set their work apart.

Me and my dad watched it (he isn't really into wheeling, bc he doesn't understand it) but he loved those two parts.

The rear steer in moab coming up whatever that was very nice. I liked it.

a few thoughts on the movie:

1. good footage
2. metal got old after a while, mix it up with some punk, rock, county, hell anything
3. seemed that certain people where in the video alot, thats cool and all but mix it up a litte
4. i would like to see more amatuer footage, like the sluice footage. of places like the hammers, moab, fordyce, heck some nice deep fordyce water crosssings, ooh and dont forget about the white stuff.


overall i think that it was well put together and such. definitely will be watchin it over and over.

i dig the music, maybe i liitle quieter though, no more fast forward please, just edit it out and more rec wheeling, but by far this movie is the best ive seen so far, good work

1)The music got anoying after a while
2)The fast forward gave me a headache
3)Save the skin for the pornos. I actually like to spend time watching wheeling videos with my kids and they dont need to see all that crap. I guess im in the minority around here:(

We purchase a 4x4 video for each quarterly 4wd club meeting and Ive seen quite a few but this one definitely is my favorite. Sweet job. My favorite scene is where the white jeep is hammering out of the mud ravine and starts into a roll and he stay on the gas trying to save it. If you want too see it he pulls it off, you will have to buy it!:flipoff2:

yeah it reminded me of all my motocross/quad videos i have with the way they were broke in sections and had the music through the whole thing

In H/C we are working to get these guys to do more trail stuff....but it is a little ruff when we caint get on the trails.... We are going to be travelling all over the US getting alot of the secret trails!! Keep those reveiws coming!!!

The show is farken great. I've watched 3 times. I agree you have to add the option to turn the music off. I would love to be able to hear what's going on I wish you could switch angles too. I would also like to see more on how the rigs are set up and from the drivers. Great shooting but it seems like a lot of the shots are cut short, I would love to see more. Thanks for a great show. I must say thanks to all for the great reveiws. All the input helps! The music issue is being all worked out!! Plus we will have a HUGE CREW around this year traveling around at different places getting footage!! The comp videos this year will have more insentive for the drivers toget a top positions. They will be for sure full of action and make you feel as if you right there at the comp...NOISE and ALL!!!!:D

I am sure they will start in Portland. Then start there skate tour. But They will also be filming. I will PM and work out all the details. When is best for good action!! I know there is alot of mud in OR.

I like Bend....I fly fished there. I think I will come along for that trip. Is there good rocks...trails...any local events at a fair....derby, mud or whatever
