Earlier this year, August or Sept., I purchased my drive shafts from Jess at:

High Angle Drive Line (http://www.highangledriveline.com)

Over the last couple of months, I've been trying to find a vibration in the truck a hwy speed, it was a real heavy shake above 55 mph. Finally ended up down at Kong's Offroad in Phx on Sat. last week. Mark determined that it was the rear d'shaft.

In an effort to complete the repairs quickly, I pulled the shaft and took it to a local guy here in town. He found it was out of phase.

At this point I called Jess, and much to my astonishment, He offered to pay for all neccesary repairs.

I WAS STUNNED!!!!! AN HONEST BUISINESS MAN WHO STANDS BEHIND HIS PRODUCT 100%

that's mighty rare these day's.

I've only had to buy one shaft so far in my build ups, and I bought it from Tom Wood. I was very pleased with everything but just from all the good things that I have heard here in POR about him, my next driveshaft purchase will be from Jess. (I'll be needing two not too long from now.) :)

I am not trying to be harsh here, but I think most vendors would have said that it was your fault because you put it in wrong. I think High Angle went way above the call of duty to offer something like that.

that's exactly my point-

most vendors would have had some lame-ass excuse-
believe me I've been thru that!!!!

Ya know there really are very few proprietors out there who will handle problems this way. especially in the off roading world i have found. I'm very impressed by everything i have heard about Jess and his products, and i will definitely be getting my new shafts from him once my engine goes in. even if his stuff is expensive, good customer service more than makes up for it.

I have a similar Jess story. I went the entire wrong way on a driveline buildup that lasted a whopping 2 trail rides. I had bought a new driveshaft and Yoke for my Atlas from Jess at High Angle when I did this.

After 2 rides, I saw the error of my ways and Jess freaking TOOK THE STUFF BACK!!! He then gave me credit toward my next driveline!

Can you believe that? Unbelievable customer service.

Now I have a 1410 High Angle shaft in the rear of my Cruiser.

Can't wait to put that one through the paces.

What does it take to actually find businessmen like Jess out there? I had heard a lot about the products he offers and finally went to his website. Products, options, testimonials, real people, the whole gig. I emailed the "tech" at H.A.D. and received a prompt response to my inquiry. I called shortly after reading the reply for some clarification and spoke directly to Jess. He actually listened to all of my "newbieness", asked a few questions of his own, and then gave me options on how to accomplish my end goal. No pressure, no used car salesman's tactics, no attitude, or condescending tone that you get from all of the lackies that answer the phones for the "other guy" in Anwhere, USA. I am getting close to being ready to do the final configuration of my rig and I will be going to Jess at H.A.D. with no worries about getting screwed or worrying if I will be married to a headache. I don't know if they have "stickers" yet, but when they do I'll have 'em plastered on my rig and won't hesitate to tell anyone who will listen.

I got a Jess story too!
I bought a 1350 one ton CV from him for my TJ, and then about two months later after one of my buddies sheared of his D300 output I decided to switch to a HD output for the D300, well Jess took the custom yoke back, and sent me a new bigger one for FREE! :D

Yep, i got one too
I had him make my front ds when i did the sas. He sent it along with a new t-case flange that would line up with the shaft. Well, evidently i got an odd-ball t-case and the spline count was wrong. He tracked down a new t-case flange (he had to get it from Marlin), and sent it to me no charge. Probably the best buisness expierience i've ever had. Jess will get all of my ds buiseness and referals. THANKS MAN!!!
