okay so I rolled the YJ with the top on and am now doing the clean-up. rear hatch glass broke and I am trying to get it apart. I am working on the fiberglass piece that holds the bottom of the window and has the chrome realease lever/knob I took the plastic cover off and the 6 screws that sandwich the glass and I have been screwing around with the chrome knob (that releases the top portion of the back gate) for about 3 hours now. it goes through the glass and needs to be removed.

How does this little sucker come apart, I can't find a drawing of it anywhere?

Please help!

I even tried JU on this one but they really are clueless over there so lets let the POR have a shot at it.
