I was wondering how the flipped 9" housings are working for you? Do you have any details on what mods where done to them to allow them to oil??

thanks for your time

I don't know the answers to any of your questions but I am going to repy anyway after all this is POR:flipoff2: I think in a previous post they talked about using a pump to pump oil to the pinions. I know companies like tilton make pumps like this for circle track racers. I don't know for sure if those are on there or not. Jack at CTM made the axles contact him for details on the design. They have a web page.

The flipped axles work as intended, turning backwards.
At first, I thought external electric pumps would be needed to oil the pinion bearings. They are heavy, draw 16 amps each, noisy and generaly too complicated though. So I routed the oil passages to scoop oil from the turning pinion. Might not last 100k mi.
