: xj 20 gal tank into a yj?

i have a 90 wrangler witha 15 gal plastic gas tank, and i was wondering if anyone has switched out there tank to a 20 gallon xj one. if you did what di you have to switch so that it would work for a yj thx.

if i were you i would put in a fuel cell and call it quits.

i know with newer YJs they had the 20 gal tank, just the filler hose was so long that you could never really fill the tank. if you just trimmed the filler hose you could make more use of it.

my jeep is a 90 though, so it really does have the 15 gallon tank
