I'm looking for some random crap from the 80s which I can't seem to find anywhere online. So I was wondering if some of y'all could help me find it. I need a Hypercolor Tshirt, a large Zack Morris style Cell phone, and one of those flowers that dances when you play music.

I've tried eBay, I've tried googling, and I can't find this junk anywhere. I was actually surprised it isn't anywhere on ebay...

Anyway let mek now ify ou have any ideas where i can find this junk, thanks.

I would say after the VH1 shows airing it's gonna be damn hard to find that stuff. Hypercolor shirts were all over ebay a month ago.

Too bad they never worked for long ;) The dyes used fail rapidly (in terms of temperature sensitivty)

I've been looking for a Zack Morris cell phone for a while, but I can't ever find one. You'd think they'd at least be conversation pieces, and have some market out there.

I think there's alot more wretched excess now than back in the 80's... Everyone has to have a BMW, Benz, Escalade, or H2. Things are far more image driven now than back then, IMO. Or at least equal...

IMO the difference is back then a LOT of people, often young, had a LOT of disposable income that they could throw around on everything. Today people are buying stuff but a lot more of it is bankrolled, 20 years ago people were just throwing cash around

I felt that way when I was in the bay area for sure. I feel less that way now in my current neighborhood. Who knows, maybe it was a regional thing in the 80s too. Although it was portrayed on TV then a lot too... and now I hardly watch tv.

My wife has a hypercolor tshirt- though it is no longer "hyper"

I'd try thrift stores in your area too like Goodwill, Valuevillage or whatever you've got. ITs really hit and miss though and their inventory can change daily. Also its better to go to the ones in smaller towns were those damn emo kids are in smaller populations and they don't pick through the stores everyday. :p

I had one that finally stopped working about 3 years ago.

trick was to not put it in the dryer. had to air dry it.

I can't believe you used the term "rad". I'm thoroughly disappointed ;) for the record, I never possessed a hypercolor shirt, a dancing flower OR a brick cell phone ;)
