Ok guys, so Im headed up to Maine at the end of this week and if I can find a nice home for this truck I will definitely sell it. Here are specs and I will post pics if and when I get my hands on a digi (should be able to in a day or so)


1985 4Runner SR5 w/ALL options and all still work

New 22RE put in 400 miles ago (171k on the odometer)

Interior is immaculate SR5 style...

New JVC headunit/w MB quart components up fron and new MB Quart in the rear w/ JL W0 running on 600 watts

A/C professionally serviced and replaced 500 miles ago and in perfect running order

Clutch replaced at the same time as A/C and by same mechanic

Front axle rebuilt under 2k ago

Sorry for the stupid question. Don't know much about toyotas. Please explain how those toyota axles can handle 38.5 SX tires. I've heard that Toy axles are tuff but I didn't know they are that tough.

Oh and by the way sweet rig.

longfields to replace the stock yota birfields will take care of that!!! Plus the rear axle is out of a newer toyota so its stronger!

What year toyota? IIRC the axles are identical, just wider.

I have a friend in the army who might be very intrested in this. I'll let you know in a day or two (he is in AIT but he usually gets online every few days). He will be on break in maryland in March and is looking to buy a runner (I'm not sure if he wants a built one).
