So I'm planning my 1 ton C-105 (Jeepster) project and I need some tramsmission advice. It will have a GM RJ 350 that makes 350hp and 405ft/lbs. I'll also be running 37's or 38's. I want to use a auto because I'm a lazy fawk :D What auto will stand up to this engine? 700 R-4, 4L60 (same as 700), 4L80? I will be running trails all over CO, NM, UT(moab), and anywhere else worth driving to. I would really like to have a OD for the highway. It will have a atlas II t-case as well. My basic goal is to beable to go on a trip and not have to worry about breakage or have bring a shitload of extra parts.
Thanks guys

I think Jet rates thier 700's to handle that much power.

if u must have od, then go with a raptor 700R4, here is the link

if u don't have to have od and a cheaper alternative, look for a turbo 400 or find a built TH350, i know of several of the well built TH350's holdin 600 hp+
