: XJ seats in YJ

Has anyone put newer XJ seats in a YJ with the YJ mounting brackets? If so how? Do they just bolt up?

they won't just "bolt up" but it can't be that hard...

I put an XJ bucket on a wheeled desk-chair pedastal. retained the tilt/recline hardware too :D

Why are they crappy? They have to be better than my YJ seats and the price is right..

i guess if theyre free, go for it.

I'm just thinking you can get used car seats for about $60 pair, that are a lot nicer than XJ seats....
