I got some from Bob Roggy for around $ 40 (don't remember exact price) but they are sweet. IMO from that pic above the ones I got are better quality. They have the machined slot for the snap ring on one end and then the other end has a threaded plate which screws in to the other side and it came with set machined holes for set screws (with set screws) and a zirt fitting to grease them. But I bet both do an awsome job

How much does a rebuild kit cost?

Or you an order them directly from Currie for $39 each. the currie ones are nice in that you do not have 2 snap rings, only one, one side of the joint caseing is machined so that the washer will sit in there without a snap ring. i just bought 2 for my traction bars on my CJ-7, worked great. the ones from currie also include the grease bolt for that $39 not sure if all pro does it. rebuild kits are cheap all it involves is new poly bushings. i will guess that you will spend $5 for each joint rebuilding it.

I used the search. So back to the top...
The bigger question is who manufactures them. I have been search the hell out on the web for "spherical roller bearing"
I would rather use the version that has a threaded retainer w/setscrew. The picture in this thread shows that the Ball is not bearing hardend by the finish.ther one Rubicon Express uses is hardend and go for $50. I know if I can get them direct there would be a good savings.

i went with the all-pro ones for my traction arm. the reason is because the 3" joints from currie use a 9/16" bolt. I figure a 5/8" bolt is just that much stronger. Make sure you have a vise to put them together, they were kind of a PITA.

They have something that might work at:

On my first traction bar I made a "budget" Johnny joint. I took poly leaf spring bushings and chucked them up in a lathe. I then took the outside edges down, so that the bushing was football shaped. This allowed the bushing to rotate in it's mount, and worked very well. I have since sold that setup and made my new one with DOM tubing and a Johnny Joint from Curries, works the same, but this one is rebuildable and greaseable.
