Does anyone know if there is anything special you need to do when removing tire/wheel from a Hummer with the central tire inflate thingie?
I just tool a job at a exotic limo joint with a 30 foot Hummer limo and I don't want to look like a total moron on my first day.
Any info or link to info is VERY appreciated.
TIA

why would you look like a morn? you mean if it gets a flat and you need to change it? otherwise..why would you need to take the wheel off? how often does a limo hummer get a flat newayz?
the first thing he wants me to do is check the Hummer top to bottom....I'm not sure till I scope the thing out what needs to come off to lok at what. I'm not to worried about most of it, I understand machines good enough to do that but I don't know any specifics on the "inflat-o-natic" system and just want to show up confident and prepared.

there's a site called redhummer.com ( or maybe it's .net???) the guy has a lot of good tech info on the hummers........just FYI
1) Disconnect CTIS from Wheel valve stem
2) remove protective cover plate (if equipped)
3) Remove Hose from axle
4) cross thread everything when you put it back together
