how are you guys doing this the truck is cherry so i dont want andy holes in the dash, does anyone sell a kit or a box that i can hide one in

I took the CD player out of my truck. It kept skipping when I went over the speed-bumps at the mall.:D
I got one from JC Whitney. It mounts on the roof, but I didn't mind drilling holes.

Yeah its called a CD changer. You can mount it in back, or under the seat.

Get an 89-90 Blazer/Jimmy/Burb dash bezel. Its made to fit that goofy DIN-and-a-half that GM uses. Then you can use one of the standard adapter plates.

A friend of mine took his cherry 88 Burb to a stereo shop. They removed the plastic "bucket" portion of the glovebox and fabbed a carpeted panel that the deck was mounted in.

You can get them in the $125 to $350 range. Pretty cheap anymore.
