Massive 'Wienie Roast' Causes Freeway Havoc

URBANA, Iowa -- You wouldn't want to be one of these Oscar Mayer weiners.
A tractor-trailer hauling nearly 44,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer turkey hot dogs went up in flames on Interstate 380 near Urbana, Iowa, Tuesday night.
All those hot dogs -- and not a bun or mustard for miles.
The local hazmat team was called out to deal with the giant weinie roast. Instead of the aroma of roasting meat, state troopers and firefighters had to endure the acrid smell of burning rubber.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the accident.
