ok tomarow I'm leaving to pick up my 78 Scout, so what should I check over, other then the obvious (fluids and crap like that)

Also, you might want to jack up the tires and yank on the wheels to see if there is any slop in the bearings (I had to replace both sets of front wheel bearings just after getting my scout). There's also stuff like cracks in the frame around spring hangers and steering box. Thats what I get off the top of my head. Basically, check everything that's checkable.
