That is totally a personal preference. I run Narrow Dana 44 rear and 30 front in my CJ. I prefer the narrow but then again I have never rolled. I have friends with full width 1 ton axles, and I can get through stuff they can't. Cedar City wheelin can be NARROW. Anyway I know this was no help, but it really is personal pref. :eek:

Go reverse cut and narrow it... but if you think reverse cut will make you roll :rolleyes: maybe you shouldnt do that....

I'm guessing his rev. cut is a narrow track housing... the standard is full width.

Well a reverse cut front would actually have the pinion and drive shaft coming in higher so I guess it could raise the CG of the vehicle :rolleyes:

His post is just miss worded and all you guys read it wrong, what he means by rolling with his rev. cut housing is that, if he built a rev. cut axle he would want it narrower for comp use, and that could make him roll easier,once again, because he would build it narrower.
