My rig, the orange and black Juggy is a Juggernaut 2, a disscontinued kit... replaced by the TXT-1 which is also in the pictures, the Dodge bodied one. The other rig is a custom built rig using Bruiser axles, t-Maxx drive lines, Stampede tranny and lots of other custom parts/chassis. There was also a Clod today but only got one pic of him, he wasn't geared for crawling so everything was full throttle.
If someone really wants to get into this RC crawling thing be ready to spend at least $300 min(used roller or RTR). For just crawling your best bang for your buck is to buy a TXT-1($360), Super Rooster ESC($120), high torque servo($60+), new pinions(8 or 9 tooth, $10-12)... so all new stuff your getting close to $500. It never stops there, trust me. I've been doing the RC thing since '87 and I have spent too much money..but it's been worth it.

I went to go look at them today with my dad and little brother. He might get us one for christmas. I know it's IFS/IRS, but it seemed to have nice flex and the guy at the store dropped it from about 6 ft. and it just landed on the ground, didn't even bounce.

The Savage, T/E-Maxx, New Assoiated gas truck and other nitro or IFS/IRS trucks are made to go fast, not for crawling. Remember that nitro trucks don't make much low end torque. If you want a crawler you'll really need to buy an electric truck.
Clods take more money and work to get to crawl really well compared to a box stock TXT-1. The TXT-1 in the pictures has a full 90* degrees of articulation and it's stock! My heavily modded Juggy has about 80*. If I were to buy a new truck it'd be a TXT-1 only 'cause they kick-ass outta the box.
Another thing is that since my Juggy is only a crawler it moves silly slow and is locked F/R... sucks on pavement which it's only seen once. I snap/twist driveshafts constantly due to being geared to the lowest possible gearing that's available & the lockers..... but I may try to swap some X-Factor axles under it since I've learned that the Jugg/TXT-1 axles are a 2:1 ratio while the X-Factor axles are 3:1, gotta go lower! Yet to do it I'll have to spend $100 both axles then make custom link mounts.

that last one needs a limiting strap, or else it will flip backwards very often. to much droop in the front.

If you want one you better buy it quick... I think, not positive, but heard something about Tamiya stopping production on those..I could be completly wrong though.
There is a big following of people who have them, neat scale rig but not really a crawler unless you want ot crawl over smaller objects. Check out rcmt.net (http://www.rcmt.net ) for lots of info, if you really want to get into it. I see rcmt.net as the PBB of the RC world.

Naww... I had been messing around with shock placement and the lower shock mount slipped and gave it way to much down travel. I fixed the shock deal then on next battery pack the pinions slipped off the motors and my day was done because I didn't want to tear into the tranny out on the rocks.
