Here's the thing. I've got a narrowed 60 for the rear of the Ranger. Its a 5 lug semi float. I thought it would be an easy swap to go with disc brakes....... But I'm confused. (that doesn't take much:flipoff2: )

I bought some of the weld on brackets for the chevy calipers, but the problem is what rotors to use?? I was just gonna run the same rotors as the front, just without the hub, but they don't fit over the axle flange:rolleyes: I figure that I could just mill down the flange of the axle, but then I would have to do the same with the spares, and so on.

So what did everyone else use?? I tried looking for newer trucks with rear disc, but they didn't offer it until they changed the lug pattern to metric:mad:

I'm using the CJ rotors. Mount them behind the axle flange.

Yes brian behind the flange.

With the shafts out of the housing you remover the wheel studs.

you then mount the rotors on the back sid eof the axle flange and then put the wheel studs throuigh the back of the rotor and throught hte axle flange.

You will probably have to get some new studs that have a longer knurled section so they can reach through the caliper and still be press fit into the axle flange.
