hey, I have a big 30 gal compressor at home that is oil free. It works fine but it is just real loud. Is it possible, and sorta cheap to convert an oil free compressor to have oil? or is this just retarted and i should go kick my own ass for thinkin this?
the reason i want to do this is cause i want to bring it to campus and i figured if i had a quiter compressor the less likely they would bitch at me. or is there another way to quiet a compressor?

thanks

Get about 300' of airline and place the compressor in your neighbors garage. That'll make it quieter.. for you anyway.

Only way you can convert it is to find an oil cooled airpump and that only works if the electric motor is big enough to turn it, et. etc. etc.
