: Axle swap question. D60 front into a Jeep TJ

Does anyone know if a 79 Ford D60 front would work as a good donor to swap into a Jeep TJ?

The D60 is driver's side drop but I don't know what other pitfalls there are with this swap.

I know that the D60 is a different lug pattern though so I would have to change my wheels. Does anyone know what the measurements are? WMS-WMS?

That is what i just got thru swapping in the front. Do a search in the Jeep forum.. TONS of info man.

I'm working on putting that axle in my TJ along with a 14 bolt right now. Search and you will find tons of info. :flipoff2:

It's a good swap and as close as you are going to get short of ordering a bolt in from dynarape. WMS to WMS is 69in Like these guys said, search and your questions will be answered.
