New Wiring Harness Replacement

Well it is Finally the big day!!
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for the replacement of a full wiring harness in a Toyota? We got all spunky and pulled the dash to get the harness #
Now 2 months later the day for replacement is here and Tim is looking for someone to grab a beer and a keyboard... and lean in the door with a few pointers...!

masking tape and a pen,label what you unplug.

Complete one circuit at a time in each group.
Try to understand the way the current flows in each circuit ...
Whether it is switched on (closed) near the root, or if it is closed (hot) innitally then activates by means of a ground switch further down the circuit such as the case with door jam switched dome lights.
