I often hear of open knuckle, and closed knuckle. Can anyone explain the difference??? Does that refer to the "steering knuckle" as in the part that swivles on ball-joints or a king-pin, or does it refer to the "knuckle yoke", which is essentially part of the axlehousing???

If you can see the u-joint at each of your front wheels it's an "open" knuckle.

...if you don't it's closed. :flipoff2:
