well i got my friends 86 bronco running, 351 w with 600 cfm edelbrock. question is when we fire it up the idle is real high. adjust the disturbutor?? retard or advance? what is the dgress the disturbutor needs to be set at and what should the idle be at?

HOLY NEWBIE SECTION!!! Turn down your damn idle screw on the carb.

What he said. Distributors adjust timing, not idle speed:rolleyes:

Look for vacuum leaks or stuck choke linkage if tweaking the idle screw won't work.
