pathfinder frame?

does an older pathfinder have a frame? who makes good lifts for them?:confused:

All WD21 Pathfinders (1988 - 1995) have a frame. All can be bodylifted and suspension lifted.
Automotive Customizers (www.4x4parts.com) is one sure stop for looking at lifts.

yup, they have a frame. they are boxed from the factory and reasonably strong. what kind of lift are you looking into doing for it?

Yeah, what kind of lift are you looking for? I wouldn't waste your money with Automotive Customizers. If you absolutely need a suspension lift, look at Calmini or superlift. I've not had good experience with AC. Few others will talk them up, but none of it has held true in my past dealings with them. But yeah, if you want any sort of lift for your pathy, just skip the UCA lifts and go straight to a SAS. You'll be greatful you didn't waste the time and money with the IFS.

So what is your plan for the pathy frame anyways?

AC sells the same (and way more) as Calmini (that has 1 choice only) and for less money, their aftermarket support, at least for me has been 1st class. I'd rather speak about facts , not generalize about your own bad experience.
I also used an AC susp. lift and body lift on a WD21 95 Path for 4 years without any problems.

as far as i am concerned, lifts are lifts, the UCA's are the same either way. It's up to you what you go with. I would probably just go with AC's because it's way cheaper, but up to you like i said. i honestly would not mess with that IFS and just go solid axle, if you wheel much, don't even lift the suspension, not worth the problems you'll have. if you do, get a dana 44 up front.d

I agree with not wasting your time with AC if you're going to keep it IFS. Ordered a 2" BL for my Xterra from them some time ago and they told me it would ship ou later that week. Kept calling back every week and got the same story of well we're waiting for this or waiting for that but as soon as we get it we'll ship you your lift. Finally got it 5 weeks later and it was missing 2 of the "hockey pucks". It took them another 2 weeks to ship the missing parts out to me.

Save yourself a headache and just give Steve at Calmini a call. Not only do they sell top quality stuff but they also are a sponsor here for the PBB.

You don't need to be rude bro, you don't even know me.
I am Admin there (although now I post once every week or so)but I'm not married to anybody, dude I don't even live in the US , but they have treated me very very good when buying stuff there. Its a matter of being thankful.

woah, didn't mean to get this topic off track....i'm speaking from experience, JP, so that is a FACT for me, and I know others as well. I'm not even talking petty things like delayed shipping, but rather a lack of customer service and product quality. Never once did I receive a product from them that wasn't missing something or another, and never once did I ever receive a call back from them. They always waited for me to call. Anyhow, just stating my thoughts...

So...what's your plans for the frame? "Nissan" buggy?

I'll second the "Dont bother with IFS" I lifted mine last year, spent about 1600 doing it (Rims/Tires, AArms, hubs Sway Aways, rancho rs9000s). I probably should have kept it stock and saved the money for a SAS. Every time I've gone out I've broken something.
