Actually it was a buddy of my new best friend Georg that came accross the deal, shuffled it off to Georg, who gave me the line on it.

It belonged to a really cool guy who was really into it, but got really sick (MS I think) <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> he was just sick of looking at it in his driveway, knowing he could never work on it or drive it again.

he is a really cool guy and I feal bad driving off with it but it is definately in a good place now. I trully love cruisers, especially wagons. I allways regreted selling my 66 45 wagon and scoring this one makes me way stoked!

Brent's is NOT a factory paint job. All US 45 wagons will have white windows/hood and colored water line down and top (ala the new baby posted above).

A similar truck in Longmont CO sold within the last 2 months for $6,000 to give some idea to value for Brent's.

it has been done, and with better than 37" from pumpkin to bumper at 5 degrees departure angle you will need it!

Then, w/o serious lift you cannot run tire wider than 9.50's within the rear wheel well.

do you have one of these machines too?

This is my 2nd LV, I had a 66 I sold to Decker about 4-5 years ago. Unlike that one, this one has tail light lenses and the stock drive train. I will more than likely restore as close to stock as possible. 69cruser just kicked me some turn signals so thats the first step in collecting parts. hub caps are the next. I have a set of stock rims off of a 72 (I am assuming they are close to the same) that the wagon caps should work on. Once I have all the parts and my 55 is where I want it, I plan on riping it down to the frame and begining the resto <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">.
I agree, I want that rear emblem in the correct position.
Any other tips or advice on this rig would be appreciated.

I think I have a couple of hub caps floating around here too, you can have. I also remember morgan saying they are still available from the dealer, pretty reasonable. but not sure on that one 100%
