I thought you meant a keg tapper but then I remembered that you get one of those from the city when you move to Placerville. :D

Yeah, already got a few keg taps from those moving away from P-ville.

I need any tap that will tap threads in a tie rod so I can thread in a TRE.

Dude, no stores in P.ville are gonna have that thing ready to sell. You can try Bob Roggy too at C&R Motorsports (behind Caspers Muffler and Hitch). 4506 Missouri Flat Rd

I got 7/8-18 bungs (uses any tube with 1" id) on the shelf and can get them out to you tomarrow if you call by 5:30

Well, for the most part those places are closed when I am working on the piece of crap.

south machine shop on the top of placerville was/(is?) pretty good when it came to all the stuff i needed done.....check em out if they're still up there
