So I bought a stock 70 bronco in great shape everything but the tub replaced by fiberglass. the thing is I want a low profile rig. (lockers, bumpers,31's)
The front fenders (fiberglass) are built in fenders, from some bronco parts dealer.
they look great, but anyone who knows, might suggest they won't last on the trail.
Should I replace them, cut them or leave em?
have you guys tried had any experience with them?
I guess what im saying is, are they vulnerable?

I have Duff's Front Glass fenders.
Mine have been bent in about 6-8 inches before and never cracked.
I did have to cut the falre out and mount a new one because i needed a higher mounted flare

I would guess that these are different. Are yours molded to the quarter panel? They stick out about 2" from the quarter panel.
How big are your tires now?

just run them and see. If they break, get somethin else.

Just a question, do you know how to ID a Stroppe Bronco. They came with glass fenders, and are valuable little rigs. I'd check before you do any thrashing. Collectors are always trying to find the last of em. If its just replacement fenders get it awn. Fiberglass is easy to fix when dinked.

These flares must of been purchaced from Bronco Graveyard. My Bronco is just a HD wagon.
