I was about to start putting my d60 front into my Jeep when I noticed that the brake calipers are on, what I think is, the wrong sides. When I was putting it together, it seemed like the caliper brackets would only fit the correct way on the correct side, but now I am wondering. The bleeder valve is suppossed to be at the top of the caliper to let air out, right? Mine are on the bottom. Unless there is something special about a d60, I am almost sure that I need to switch all the outers to the opposite sides. (Damnit! )

the bleeders go at the top, if they're chevy brakes I believe you can just swap the calipers, I can't remember if you can do that on the fords...

I don't know 60's but are you sure the calipers are on the right side? What if you put your right on the left and left on the right!

That's what I think that I need to do.

this is funny
i was assembling mine the other day doing the 'it only goes on one way' thing
but
you can put them on backwards....the clue is whether the hex bolt and wedges are on the bottom or top.
hubs wont go on spindle if you do what I did
LOL
sound like you just grabbed the wrong caliper though

Pretty funny, I almost did the same thing. It would be kind of hard to bleed them unless of course your rolled it.
