Hey All,
I want to run dual Optima batteries. I have a guy that can give me a deal on the yellow tops. Can I run two of those in series? I heard that it isn't a great idea to run deep cycle batteries for some reason.
BTW, I have a 175 amp G3 (mustang) altenator. Thanks.

Yellow are the "marine" type right? They don't "recover" as quick as the Red type but if you can get a "deal" on them jump on it. I run the red cause they have a faster recovery rate.....
