:laughing: If it were it would only be through some random loophole, like never mentioning the person in the car, only the cars actions.

Im thinking how you could do this... the gas is easy, just a good strong servo probably. The brake would have to be like a 12v actuator.. Steering; maybe mount a 12v motor to the steering wheel? You could probably do this for under 500 bucks. Man, that'd be fun :D

so many new cars are totally fly-by-wire, it wouldn't be very tough on anything new

Most expensive part in that build was the Mead air switch, like $48.00, or the RC control set was like $300.
All the other stuff was scrounged, like the regulator was stolen off of my air compressor. The ram was found in a dumpster, the steering was a 1200lb superwinch that was laying around. Best part was all the stuff was stripped out of the car and put into another one that is ready to go right now.:D
