I have an 83 720 pickup, I think the ignition module is bad, ex plugs don't fire. Are there any other cars that used the used the same distributor?

Bob,
All my Nissan Manuals are still in storage, but I think the '83 still have the module mounted on the distributor. Two external connections (power and "-" coil wire), two internal connections to the pickup coil in the distributor.
If that is the style, it was very common through out both 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder (Z & 810) used in that time period. I always carried a spare as I had a late model distributor in my old 510.
If you get really stuck... a common GM ignition module 4 connection "crab" can be used. With those I made up a piece of aluminum to act as heat sink, and mounted that on the fender well. Datsun with GM module (http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com/articles/tech_hei.html)
Good luck,

Thanks Tom,
The ignition module is in the distributor and has 4 connectors, E B C and I. But they are all external, this engine does have 8 spark plugs and 2 coils.
