Howdy.
I just bought a 92 Range Rover so of course I know nothing about them. How about some links & sites w/ good general info so I don't have to ask my non-hardcore questions here?
Thanks.

Congratulations!
Discoweb is a good place, be sure to tell them I sent you:flipoff2:
In all seriousness, I learned much from Roversnorth.com's BBS as well as Dweb. Be careful though, if they resort to name-calling lower yourself to his level and all will be well.
Also, feel free to PM me as I don't mind the newb questions-you might find soemthing new!
Peace,

Since you bought a Range Rover I'm going to send you to John Brabyn's excellent site:
rangerovers.net (http://www.rangerovers.net)
Lots of good stuff, parts, alternative parts, upgrades, etc...
Nothing for sale (which makes it a good unbiased site), and feedback and experiences from a wide variety of Range Rover owners.
There's also a Range Rover Owners mailing list which has a few good core people from the US and Australia mainly. It's not a big list, but the guys on it are generally spot on.
Honestly the Range Rover forum on D-web isn't the greatest, but for noob stuff it'll pay off.
I don't like the Rovers North board at all, and only go there about once a month if that.
Good luck (and check your ICM! It's next to the muffler bearings).

to be honest i think most of the BBS pale in comparison to the lists. when i bought the rangie I learned mostly from email based lists. RRO is still a good list, and I believe rangie-L is still out around. check 'em out -
the RRO "coiler" list - (http://land-rover.team.net/mailman/listinfo/rro)
rangie-L - Matthew Reeves rangie list, and site! info for the list can be found on the homepage -
www.rangie.com (http://www.rangie.com/)
i've had some great discussions on the lists and gathered some great info from them. good luck -
cheers,
